The WEL Team Drives to Succeed

Since 1975, WEL has been built upon the basic principles of good customer service. Our team works together to provide you with the best possible solutions for your needs. We are committed and responsive to your needs, and strive to make continuous improvements, leading you to your greatest results.

Each new member of the WEL team must undergo a rigorous training process. You can be sure that every WEL employee you encounter has been instilled with the same ideals that have made this company an industry leader for over 35 years.

Our dedication to keeping everyone on the WEL page has produced phenomenal outcomes in every conceivable way, including safety and efficiency.

WEL’s annual turnover rate amongst truck drivers is less than half of the national average. This consistency in our transportation services keeps our services steadily improving, and has led to outstanding reviews by the ISS, DOT, and most importantly, our customers.

You can expect the same consistency and constant improvement from individuals in all areas of WEL. Our warehousing and logistics teams are professionals through and through.

Each team member is driven to taking your needs, your wants, and your bottom line into account with every action.

A tradition of quality service is not just a result of our team’s work; it is our passion.

Our team insists upon providing you with only the best in industry service, and we strive to provide you with everything you need to keep your business running smoothly in the short-term and the long-term.

The Spirit of WEL

Today the spirit of Wally Tielens, co-founder, lives on in how we do customer service. Treating the customer with kindness and respect is a big factor of why WEL Companies grew from a two-truck company started by Wally and Bruce in 1975.

Wally approached all of his business ventures with the same level of customer service, and further he instilled it into his children and grandchildren. In turn, he instilled it into the WEL team.

WEL co-founder, Wally Tielens

A passion to “treat others as you would want to be treated” lives at the core of our customer service approach. In growing and developing WEL with his sons Bruce and Randy, Wally set the bar high for customer service. And since his passing in 2005, WEL has striven to meet and surpass the expectations set by Wally.

Our philosophy extends past the day-to-day business of WEL and into our interaction with the greater community. It’s demonstrated nicely by the establishment of the Wally Tielens Memorial Fund, and our participation in the annual World’s Largest Truck Convoy® to benefit Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
