This month we would like to highlight our December 2022 employee of the month, Abbie Lavin.
Abbie has been with WEL Companies since July of 2021. She has been in a couple of different roles with WEL Companies that she has thrived in, and we cannot wait to see what she accomplishes next.
Abbie was nominated by her peers, who had rave reviews for Abbie, to earn the title of employee of the month. “Abbie displays WEL’s core values of putting people first, exploring possibilities, leading the way, and we are in it together. Her willingness to help others knows no end. She helps train other members of her team all while keeping up with her own duties. She always has a smile on her face, spreading joy and positivity to everyone around her. Congratulations!”

Dave McGowan has been a member of the WEL Family since May 1989. He is a husband and father of two children. Dave is also a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam in 1971-1972, and he attended driving school soon after he was released from the military in 1974.
During his career with WEL, Phil has worked as a driver, dispatcher, terminal manager and customer service manager. He says he always was a driver first, though non-driving jobs taught him financial management that helps him as an owner-operator.
